Museum Amsterdam Noord is een toegankelijk museum dat oude en nieuwe Noorderlingen en heden en verleden met elkaar verbindt door verhalen over thema’s die niet alleen vroeger, maar ook nu spelen in Noord. Denk aan thema’s als: woningbouw, sport, oorlog en herdenken, vrouwengeschiedenis en migratie.
De wisselende tentoonstellingen zijn te bezoeken in het voormalig badhuis van Vogeldorp en worden aangevuld met een randprogramma dat door heel Noord plaatsvindt.
Linking history and the present
Museum Amsterdam Noord is an accessible museum that unites old and new Northerners and past and present, through stories about themes that not only played a role in the past, but also now play a role in Noord. Think of themes such as: housing, sports, war and commemoration, women’s history and migration.
The changing exhibitions can be visited in the former bathhouse of Vogeldorp and are supplemented with an extra program that is presented throughout the borough Noord.
